In this episode of The Book Cover Design Podcast I talk about print book cover design and the dimensions that I use for my client’s book covers. I also cover a few other important things that will help you if you are planning on publishing a paperback or hardcover book.

Make sure you use the right dimensions that line up with your books page count otherwise things will look off. Remember, your page count determines your spine width.

Also make sure that the dimensions you pick for your book are comfortable to hold in your hand in physical form. My suggestion is that you go with anything between a 5×8 and a 6×9 cover. Those are pretty standard book sizes that look and feel really good when printed.
